Do you ever feel tired of noise, traffic, and too many people around you? I felt that too. I wanted to go somewhere calm, quiet, and fresh. That’s when I went to Pir Chinasi, and it felt like the perfect escape.

Peer Chinasi is a peaceful place in Azad Kashmir, high up in the mountains. It’s about 9,500 feet above sea level. The weather is cool, the sky is wide, and the view is really beautiful. There are tall trees all around, and the air feels clean and fresh.

People go there for different reasons. Some visit the famous shrine. Some enjoy adventure like hiking or paragliding. And some, like me, just want a quiet place to sit, think, and enjoy the beauty.

Let me tell you what I saw there and why this place felt so special to me.

What Makes Pir Chinasi Special?

Pir Chinasi feels special because of its green trees, cool air, and quiet surroundings. The tall pine trees make the place smell fresh, and the light wind sounds soft and peaceful. One of the most beautiful things here is how the clouds move.

Sometimes, the clouds are above your head, and sometimes, they come down and cover the ground. It looks like a dream and feels very calm.

On a clear day, you can see far into the distance. You might see the Jhelum Valley, Chakothi, and even Neelum Valley. And if the weather is really clear, you might also spot Spider Peak, one of the tallest mountains near Muzaffarabad.

My Experience

When I went to Pir Chanasi, I sat quietly under the trees and just looked around. Everything felt calm. It was like time had slowed down. The cool wind, the sound of birds, and the wide view of the mountains made it a moment I’ll always remember.

Still, you’ll find a few small stalls where you can get snacks and a hot cup of tea. If you want to stay the night, the nearest guest houses are in Saran, which is about 2 to 3 kilometers before Pir Chinasi.
